GenPress MSA - Semi-Automatic Mounting Presses for metallographic sample preparation are one of the most popular items in the GenPress - Mounting press line up. These single cylinder MSA I and MSA II metallographic Mounting Press systems provide leading technology for best edge retention in a variety of mold sizes. Our NextGen MSA - Semi Automatic mounting presses have an integrated hydraulic system to apply the necessary compression to form one to three samples at any given time. The MSA - metallographic hot mounting press systems are designed for the preparation of samples for low to medium application requirements and are equipped with a simple controls system to allow for the setting of all testing parameters of the mounting cycle. The heat temperature control is completely automatic once the parameters have been set and are controlled by powerful heating elements. Water cooling is easily controlled with a simple switch on the front of the unit. A recirculating pump is included as standard to avoid having to use a faucet or other water connection. Sample sizes are available in 1", 1.25" 1.5", 2" (25mm, 30mm, 40mm and 50mm). The time savings associated with this state of the art mounting press machine easily justifies the investment.
