GenCut LF Series - Large and Robust Abrasive Cut-Off Saw is a wet abrasive metallographic cutting machines use a cut-off wheels ranging from 12" (305mm) to 20" (508mm). These abrasive cutters offer manual and automated cutting. The machines are capable of cutting pieces up to 6" (150mm) in diameter with a cutting depth of nearly 18" (450mm) and 250mm height. The machines can also handle long and heavy samples. The LF Series metallographic Abrasive Cut-Off Machine can handle longer and heavy specimens thanks to the large opening doors allow ease of access for loading and unloading the specimens. The stainless steel t-slot vice table allows complete flexibility in your choice of clamping arrangement. The working table can accommodate a large variety of metallographic specimen sizes. The hydraulic operation system allows for speed consistency. The LF Series metallographic abrasive cut off machine is designed for corrosion resistance.
Additionally, the abrasive cutter is able to perform Z axis cutting. The comes standard with a 120L-160L recirculating tank on wheels, stored conveniently inside the cabinet. Alternatively, band filter options are available.
There are three primary abrasive cutters in the GenCut LF series:
Model LF-2600 abrasive cut-off machine uses a 12" (305mm) cutting disc and capable of cutting specimens up to 90mm in diameter.
Model LF-3600 abrasive cut-off machine uses a 16" (406mm) cutting disc and capable of cutting specimens up to 120mm in diameter.
Model LF-4500 abrasive cut-off machine uses a 20" (508mm) cutting disc and capable of cutting specimens up to 150mm in diameter with a maximum depth of 450mm

GenCut LC - Robust Abrasive Cut-Off Saw has a clever design for ease of access, and is equipped with a retractable cut-off blade and flexible clamping. The cut-off blade sizes are easily interchangeable. The unique value of this robust abrasive cutter is that the blades move easily up and down.
