The NG-AutoPol system controls the entire polishing process automatically through a combination of precise motion control, programmable pressure, and real-time feedback monitoring. Operators set parameters such as polishing force, linear speed, contact time, and active polishing length directly on the touchscreen interface, allowing complete customization for each specimen type.

Once the process starts, the system maintains stable contact between the sandpaper and specimen, meaning that each section of the surface is polished only once, known as single-contact motion. This prevents overheating, distortion, or over-polishing of the gauge section.
