The NG-SHM Class DP – Servo Hydraulic Testing Machine models are designed with varying distances between columns to accommodate different specimen sizes and testing capacities. In the SHM605 model, the distance between the columns is 60 cm by 35 cm. The SHM106 model provides a larger space of 66 cm by 40 cm. For the SHM206, which supports the highest test forces, the column spacing is 90 cm by 45 cm.

These increasing dimensions correspond to higher-capacity models’ growing structural needs. Wider spacing allows for easier handling and testing of larger or bulkier specimens, as well as enhanced access and visibility during setup. The appropriate spacing between columns also supports better alignment and load distribution, which is essential for accurate and safe mechanical testing.
