Introducing our Manual Vicat Apparatus – a pinnacle in cement and concrete testing. Precision-engineered for accurate setting time determinations, this device is your reliable partner for research, quality inspections, and compliance assessments in the realm of concrete formulation. Explore a new era of testing with confidence.
The commencement of concrete hardening is marked by the initial setting time, denoting the point at which the cement paste begins to solidify. On the other hand, the final setting time signifies the moment when the cement paste is suitably hardened, allowing the 1 mm needle to impact the material within the mold while the 5 mm needle remains ineffective.
In theoretical terms, the initial drying time of concrete, spanning from the addition of cement to water until a specific elapsed time, ensures that the 1 mm square cross-section needle cannot penetrate the cement paste within 5 mm to 7 mm from the bottom of Vicat’s mold. The conclusive adjustment time, conversely, measures the duration between the introduction of cement and the point at which the 1 mm needle influences the material in the mold, rendering the 5 mm insert non-reactive.
The Vicat frame consists essentially of a metal stand with a sliding rod. An adjustable indicator moves over a graduated scale. The needle or plunger is attached to the bottom end of the rod to make up the test weight of 300 g.
The frame, VicatGen/M is supplied without accessories, which have to be ordered separately depending on the requirement. It is also proposed with basic EN accessories (NG-L028) or ASTM/AASHTO accessories (NG-L0028/A).

BlaineGen Classic is a digital Blaine apparatus for measuring cement, lime, and powder fineness by the air permeability method. It determines specific surface area from controlled airflow through a packed powder bed and follows EN 196-6, ASTM C204, GB/T 8074, and NF P15-403 workflows. Digital timing, calculation support, a Blaine cell set, and simple handling make it practical for routine QC.
The Automatic Vicat Apparatus determines cement paste standard consistency and setting time with less operator intervention than a manual frame. It uses automated position calibration, position memory, frictionless needle drop, high-precision LVDT displacement measurement, touchscreen operation, and onboard storage for up to 200 test groups. Support for ASTM C187, ASTM C191, EN 196-3, and related methods makes it practical for cement QC labs.
BlaineGen Plus is an automated Blaine apparatus for determining cement fineness by the air permeability method. Built for EN 196-6 and ASTM C204 workflows, it automates fluid aspiration, timing, K-constant calibration, and result calculation while using four level sensors for precise manometric fluid control. A 7-inch touchscreen, balance integration, data storage, multilingual interface, and standalone operation improve lab efficiency.
NextGen Curemate 550 is a 550 L climatic curing cabinet for cement and concrete specimens, built to maintain controlled humidity and temperature during curing. Its digital controller displays temperature, relative humidity, and operating phases, while the AISI 304 stainless structure, four doors, eight standard shelves, automatic vaporization humidifier, +10°C to +40°C range, and 80–100% humidity support stable laboratory curing conditions.
NextGen Curemate 750 is a 750 L climatic curing cabinet for cement and concrete specimens requiring stable temperature and humidity conditions. Built with AISI 304 stainless steel inner and outer structure, it supports up to six extractable shelves and 24 molds. Digital 0.1-resolution control, +15°C to +30°C temperature range, 80–100% humidity, automatic vaporization humidification, and insulated construction support reliable curing workflows.
NG-DMM is a fully automatic digital mortar mixer for precise preparation of cement, sand, water, additives, and construction blends. Its 5 L stainless steel bowl, 7-inch LCD touchscreen, programmable cycles, electric lifting system, planetary and rotational mixing action, safety features, and ASTM C305, EN 196-1, EN 196-3, ISO 679, and AASHTO T 162 compliance support consistent laboratory mortar preparation.
NG-AutoDigiMix is an automatic programmable mortar mixer for efficient cement mortar preparation in construction-materials laboratories. It uses planetary mixing action, a stainless steel bowl, open sand hopper, EN beater, keyboard display, variable-speed control, and standard-guided procedures for manual sand addition. Compliance with EN 196-1, EN ISO 679, EN 196-3, ASTM C305, and ASTM C451 supports repeatable testing workflows.
NG-AutoDigiMix 2 is a fully automatic programmable mortar mixer for cement, mortar, lime, and research-material preparation. It supports EN 196-1, EN ISO 679, EN 196-3, EN 459-2, and EN 413-2 workflows, with automatic testing cycles, electronically controlled sand dispensing, extra dispenser access, four standard cycles, ten operator-programmable cycles, acoustic step signals, 5 L stainless bowl, and safe ergonomic operation.
The high-pressure Autoclave is designed for cement and concrete laboratories that need controlled steam-pressure curing or soundness-related testing. Its internal vessel measures about 154 mm in diameter by 430 mm high and accepts a rack for 10 specimens. A pressure gauge, pressure regulator, temperature regulator, control switches, safety valve, and specimen rack help operators run consistent, protected high-pressure procedures.
