Mortar Mixers

Mortar strength figures are only comparable if every batch was mixed the same way: the same speeds, the same moment the sand goes in, the same timing throughout. That is why the mixing procedure is written into the standard rather than left to the operator. NextGen supplies programmable mortar mixers that run it automatically, to EN 196-1 and ASTM C305.

The digital model gives speed control and a timer for a laboratory mixing a few batches a day, while the programmable and fully automatic models hold the sequence and add the sand themselves, which takes operator timing out of the result altogether. Bowls, paddles and spares come from the same supplier, and support continues for the life of the mixer.
