Rubber stretches a long way before it breaks, which asks something different of a frame than metal does: long travel, low speeds held steadily, and grips that hold a slippery elastomer without cutting into it. NextGen builds electromechanical frames for tensile, tear and compression work on cured sheet, film and finished parts, verified to ISO 7500 and ASTM E4.

Frames run from single-column benchtop units for thin sheet and film to floor-standing columns for heavy sections, each with self-tightening or pneumatic grips suited to elastomers, long-travel extensometry and method software. Machines are installed and calibrated on site, your operators are trained on them, and support continues for the life of the frame.
