Compare Series C with Series D when your program is moving toward higher loads, larger specimens, or heavier fixtures. Series C sits between them, covering 5 kN to 50 kN with both bench-top and floor-standing configurations, so it is often the right fit for labs that have outgrown lighter bench-top testing but do not need a high-force production frame.

The crossover usually comes down to three things: required force, specimen and fixture size, and how much test space flexibility you need. If you routinely work near 5 kN to 10 kN, Series B is worth comparing. If you are pushing toward 50 kN, adding larger grips, or planning for more demanding metal and composite work, Series D becomes the better comparison.
