Start from the property in your specification, and the machine follows:
- Strength, elongation or flexural modulus: a universal testing machine.
- Impact or brittleness: a pendulum impact tester, or a falling-weight tester for sheets and finished parts.
- Hardness: a hardness tester.
- Flow behaviour of the melt: a melt flow indexer.
- Heat resistance: an HDT/Vicat system.
